proof that there is a god

Twice since I returned to work, I have gotten two Ding Dongs for the price of one out of our vending machine.

I put my fifty cents in the machine, so as to purchase one, individually-wrapped, Ding Dong. Alas, the Ding Dong gets stuck. Well this fancy-shmancy vending machine, when an item gets stuck, it literally says "Oops!" and asks you to make another choice - so you don't lose your fifty cents! That alone is something about which to be very happy, as we all know how irritating it is to try and get your money back for items which got stuck in the vending machine. We usually don't want to go through the hassle so we suck it up, go back to our offices and return a minute later with fifty additional cents.

Anyway, so I just chose the Ding Dong again, assuming mine would fall the second time around...and two Ding Dongs fell down!

Twice. Twice in two weeks this has happened to me. In fact, the only times I have purchased Ding Dongs since my return to work, I have received two for the price of one.

Blessed are the meek, indeed.
