Yes, the title of this entry is correct. I am working on an update for How to Write a Love Song. Since most of you haven't read it, if you'd like to get caught up you may find it here: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5438148/1/How_to_Write_a_Love_Song
or here: http://twilighted.net/viewstory.php?sid=7925
Since I'm sure you don't know, I will tell you: I started writing this story at the same time as The Cocky and The Cougar. It is completely different and I actually think it's much better than the C&C. At the very least, I have a soft spot in my heart for it. However, the popularlity of the C&C took off whereas this one...did not. It's quite different for fanfic and it also includes main characters who are not Twilight canon characters (although it is an Edward story and Bella and most of the usual characters are there, as well). Honestly, I'm not sure if that's why people have a hard time with it or what the deal is, but since the C&C became so much more popular than this story, it became hard for me to forego updating it in favor of working on a Love Song chapter and so here we are, a few months later, and there are still only 4 chapters posted. I WILL finish this story, but I just can't see myself doing so until after the C&C has been put to rest.
Two things happened recently, however, which have given me the drive to post chapter 5 on Friday.
1) I got a review from someone literally begging me to update the story and not abandon it and
2) Friday is some sort of fanfic reader appreciation day and some of us are trying to make sure we update on that day, to show our - yes - appreciation.
So now that you know the backstory, here is the teaser I promised you:
Edward was shaking Kira's hand and congratulating her when the flirtatcious waitress came over. "Hey Jasper," she smiled at him and Edward smiled again to himself as he watched a slow grin cover Jasper's face.
And that is all...for now...
Yeah, I find that being a slutty reviewer is much more satisfying... so I'm going to leave you some love here, too.
I am in love with this story. I like not knowing exactly where it's going. I feel like we're on the rollercoaster - click, click, click, click... meeting all the people in the different cars, not knowing who will scream, who will laugh and wave their hands in the air, who will throw up... we can only hope that the folks who throw up aren't sitting in the front, you know?
Anyway, I am stoked to read more of this, and I'm doing a little happy dance that I'll get to preread more of this! (hahaha, doing the happy beta dance!) And I'm cool with Googledocs until your computer is whipped back into shape.
MWAH!
