So in case you didn’t know this about me – I am a supplement freak. Meaning, I take a lot of them. Three times each day I pop a wad of pills in my mouth (although these days I take them 2 at a time cuz when I was taking the handful all in one gulp I ended up with some esophageal damage). Multi-vitamin, Calcium/Magnesium, CoQ10 (I take the Ubiquinol version, cuz I'm...well, old), Fish Oil, Lecithin, Greens & Vegetables in pill form, Conjugated Linoleic Acid and digestive enzymes. Plus, I mix flax seed in with my protein shake in the morning (although I don't always have a protein shake and I admit that when I don't, I do not have the flax seed. Shame on me). Oh and I also take cranberry in pill form, cuz...well, this may be TMI but I often have urinary-tract issues. However, the cranberry pills don't seem to be helping so I am going to stop taking them when I finish the present bottle, cuz I hate the capsule they come in.
Anyway, I have been taking these supplements for quite some time and you’d think it would be a habit by now, wouldn’t you? Engrained as part of my routine...
Apparently not, because I totally forgot to take any yesterday and have forgotten either my breakfast or my lunch supplements for like 3 days in a row.
I now feel certain that my bones are going to break and I am going to catch pneumonia, get sick and die a horrible death.
